Sharon Osbourne Leaves NBC Because Son Jack Didn't Get A Show: Report

You might not see Sharon Osbourne on the next season of America's Got Talent. It isn't because she wanted more money, or because NBC decided to go with someone else. No, Osbourne has reportedly walked away from the popular show because the network that airs America's Got Talent wouldn't give her son a show.

Jack Osbourne had been working on a new series called Stars Earn Stripes, a military-themed reality show. It is a celebrity-studded show in which actors and musicians compete in a variety of intense events designed to be a sort of boot camp for famous people.

The show will premiere on August 13 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. But according to the New York Post, Jack will not be a part of it.

His mom thinks it's because NBC found out that Jack has multiple sclerosis, something he annonced publicly just a matter of days ago.

The network sent Jack an email that he would no longer be working with the show, and this has caused Sharon to be so disenchanted with NBC that she wants to end her America's Got Talent contract.

"It's time to move on. I just can't be fake. ... They can't make me do something I don't want to do," Sharon said.

She still has another show on CBS called The Talk, a less political version of The View that airs in the afternoon.
