The dating show war continues

After ABC decided to move the finale of its Bachelorette reality series to Sunday, July 22, CBS had no choice but to move the premiere of its new dating show "3," which had been scheduled to air on the same date.

Reports suggest that ABC slotted that time for the Bachelorette special specifically because it wanted to sabotage CBS's series, as part of an ongoing battle between the two networks. CBS threatened to sue ABC over a show called The Glass House, because it claimed it was a ripoff of Big Brother.

The new CBS show focuses on, yep, three women who are all looking for the perfect man. The network claims that in this series, love is not treated "like a competition."

Dating shows have been a surprisingly strong part of the summer lineup. Fox added two new series, The Choice and Take Me Out, both of which air on Thursday nights.

And then there is CBS's new show, which will now premiere on July 28.
