Ventura, CA, May 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- A new MTV reality show, by the name of “Beyond Dance” will be premiering soon, featuring Gregg and Carmen Curtis as the aerial experts and guest judges on the program. Contestants on “Beyond Dance” will compete in various forms of extreme dance as they push the boundaries of movement.
MTV will be filming part of the new program in Ventura at The Aerial Studio. Carmen and Gregg, co-founders of the studio, will be lending their extensive experience in circus arts to assist contestants and judge performances. Former Cirque Du Soleil performers, Carmen and Gregg opened the studio in order to share their passion for aerials with the community, offering instruction in aerial arts, acrobatics, parkour, and AIReal Yoga™ at all levels.
In addition to co-managing and teaching at the studio, Gregg Curtis works as a creative director and producer with an array of performers and companies, drawing on his extensive background in acrobatics and aerials. Currently, Gregg is working with Jason Derulo as a stunt coordinator at the Billboard Awards as well as being Production Director for Miley Cyrus’s 2014 “Bangerz” Tour, which kicked off earlier this year.
The Aerial Studio of Ventura is owned by former Cirque Du Soleil performers, Carmen and Gregg Curtis, and staffed by highly qualified instructors. The studio offers a range of circus classes, from aerial arts (trapeze, lyra, aerial silks, hammock and rope) to acrobatics and parkour, available at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. In addition to the aerial classes offered, qualified instructors teach both yoga and AIReal Yoga™ at the studio.
