What to Watch Thursday: Parks Returns, Ground Floor Begins, Vampire Sees Triple and More

On TV this Thursday: Parks and Rec returns with a vengeance, The Millers have an awkward family chat, Vampire Diaries works Nina Dobrev overtime, politics heat up on Parenthood, TBS’ Ground Floor premieres and more. 8 pm The Vampire Diaries (The CW) | Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon try to explain Amara’s (N Dobz) situation to Stefan, while Dr. Wes gives Katherine (Nini D) some disturbing news. (Get scoop.)

8 pm The Big Bang Theory (CBS) | Penny confronts Raj’s ex-girlfriend,Lucy, played by returning guest star Kate Micucci (Raising Hope).

8 pm Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (ABC) | Learn how Will Scarlet and Anastasia ended up in Wonderland and how the Red Queen ascended to the throne.

8 pm Parks and Recreation (NBC) | In the first of tonight’s two postponed episodes, Leslie throws Ben a birthday bash and Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) returns as Tom’s crush. Then, Leslie prepares a haunted house with Ben, Ann and Chris — being “Halloween” and all. (Watch a sneak peek, check out a promo and get scoop on the funny/sad Ann/Chris send-off.)

8:30 pm The Millers (CBS) | Carol insists the fam gather for a better-late-than-never “birds and the bees” talk from forgetful Tom. In other news, Casey Wilson Appearance Alert! Between that and Eliza Coupe a few weeks back, is this show trying to stage a full-on Happy Endings reunion? ‘Cause that would be amahzing.

Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect) stars as Brody, a banker who has a one night stand with Jenny — and they like it. McGinley plays Mr. Mansfield, Brody’s boss, and Jenny is joined on the ground floor by Derrick (James Earl, Glee) and Tori (Pitch Perfect‘s Alexis Knapp). (Get an exclusive first look.)

10 pm Elementary (CBS) | Mycroft (Rhys Ifans) tries to convince Sherlock to move home to London. William Sadler (Hawaii Five-0) and Margaret Colin (Gossip Girl) guest-star as the billionaire couple at the center of the case of the week.

10 pm Parenthood (NBC) | Kristina pulls ahead in the mayoral race, but the media uncovers some dirt on her that casts Adam in a negative light.
