What to Watch Tuesday: Save Your Voice (Fave), Mindy's Mix-Up, 38 Persons of Interest and More

On TV this Tuesday: The Voice invokes its instant save, Mindy‘s men get it twisted, a Goldbergs barbecue goes horribly awry and Person of Interest pulls more numbers than a church-basement bingo caller. 8 pm NCIS (CBS) | The team revisits a hit-and-run murder when a former FBI agent (Eureka‘s Salli Richardson-Whitfield) gives Gibbs a very important tip. Elsewhere, McGee wonders why Tony is acting so strangely. (Psst, we know why! Rhymes with Reva.)

8:30 pm Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox) | When Jake gets to spend the day with his hero, a former crime reporter (Stacy Keach, Prison Break), he doesn’t realize that all of his comments about Holt and the precinct are decidedly on the record. (Gulp.)

9 pm The Voice (NBC) | It’s the start of the “instant save,” so get to Twitter and salvage your faves!

9 pm NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS) | Hetty realizes that the theft of an antiterrorism device is bringing her back to someone from her past.

9 pm Supernatural (The CW) | In exchange for helping Sam and Kevin, Crowley wants a phone call to Hell; Castiel gets a job at a Gas-N-Sip.

9 pm The Goldbergs (ABC) | The Goldbergs badger their new neighbors into coming over for a barbecue, which – as it turns out – may not be the best idea. Tom Cavanagh (Ed) guest-stars.

9:30 pm The Mindy Project (Fox) | Mindy has a crush on lawyer Cliff, but Danny thinks she’s sweet on him. Meanwhile, Morgan and Peter text from Mindy’s phone, which leads to a lot of trouble. Ellie Kemper (The Office) returns as Heather.
