On TV this Tuesday: The Voice invokes its instant save, Mindy‘s men get it twisted, a Goldbergs barbecue goes horribly awry and Person of Interest pulls more numbers than a church-basement bingo caller. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.
8 pm NCIS (CBS) | The team revisits a hit-and-run murder when a former FBI agent (Eureka‘s Salli Richardson-Whitfield) gives Gibbs a very important tip. Elsewhere, McGee wonders why Tony is acting so strangely. (Psst, we know why! Rhymes with Reva.)
8:30 pm Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox) | When Jake gets to spend the day with his hero, a former crime reporter (Stacy Keach, Prison Break), he doesn’t realize that all of his comments about Holt and the precinct are decidedly on the record. (Gulp.)
9 pm NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS) | Hetty realizes that the theft of an antiterrorism device is bringing her back to someone from her past.
9:30 pm The Mindy Project (Fox) | Mindy has a crush on lawyer Cliff, but Danny thinks she’s sweet on him. Meanwhile, Morgan and Peter text from Mindy’s phone, which leads to a lot of trouble. Ellie Kemper (The Office) returns as Heather.
10 pm Sons of Anarchy (FX) | The Irish put another obstacle in Jax’s way.
10 pm Person of Interest (CBS) | Finch receives 38 numbers at once, all connected to a mysterious figure inciting war between HR and the Russian mob.
10 pm Chicago Fire (NBC) | While out on a jog, Severide finds a badly injured boy trapped at a secluded construction site and must find a way to help him. (Shades of ER‘s “Hell and High Water”?)
