SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2

8 pm 2013 Breeder’s Cup (NBC) | The two-day racing event continues from Arcadia, Calif.

8 pm The Preacher’s Mistress (Lifetime) | Sarah Lancaster (Chuck) stars in this telepic as a struggling single mother who unwittingly falls for a married preacher (Friday Night Lights‘ Ed Waters) — and then in true Lifetime fashion, things get much, much worse.

8 pm The Thanksgiving House (Hallmark) | A Boston lawyer (Haven‘s Emily Rose) inherits a house in Plymouth, then learns from a local historian (Justin Bruening) that it may be the site of the first Thanksgiving.

11 pm Animation Domination Hi-Def (Fox) | Fall premiere: After Axe Cop has killed all the bad guys, he and his team must find new jobs. Then, High School USA! is about to lose all of its funding unless the gang can get test scores up.

11:30 pm Saturday Night Live (NBC) | Scandal star Kerry Washington lords over Studio 6H; Eminem performs. (Is SNL best when it’s not live? And many more TV Qs!)

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3

8 pm The Simpsons (Fox) | Four Springfielders try to right past regrets following the funeral of a beloved neighbor. Plus, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and football star Joe Namath guest-voice.

8:30 pm The Amazing Race (CBS) | An intense dispute breaks out at the mat, which I can only assume is about the offensive nickname given to Leo and Jamal. (“Afghanimals”? Really?!)

PREVIEW | The Good Wife EPs on ‘Unbound’ Will, Kalinda’s Loyalties and Alicia’s Breakdown

9 pm Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime) | Season finale: Grayson and Jane finally reveal their feelings for each other, but they’re interrupted by someone who threatens to reveal Jane’s secret. Plus, Grayson represents a dominatrix played by Lost’s Rebecca Mader. (Get scoop.) (Yep, renewed.)

9 pm Boardwalk Empire (HBO) | Nucky refuses to back Chalky in his conflict with Narcisse.

9 pm Revenge (ABC) | Emily does something very uncharacteristic when important people in her life start turning on her. (My guess: She wears something completely unfashionable.)

9 pm Homeland (Showtime) | As Carrie turns the tables, Saul tries to keep an intrusive senator at bay.

9 pm The Walking Dead (AMC) | The supply mission faces hurdles, and the situation at the prison worsens.

10 pm Witches of East End (Lifetime) | Ingrid finds a unique way to mourn for Adam (please, please, no necrophilia), and Freya meets Dash’s ex-fiance.

10 pm Masters of Sex (Showtime) | Libby and Masters visit Miami; Jane helps Virginia debunk a theory.

10:30 pm The Mentalist (CBS) | With the final clue in hand (or as it were, on shoulder), Jane gathers the remaining Red John suspects in one place in hopes of finally revealing his identity.
