Paul Drinkwater/NBC(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian stopped by the Tonight Show with Jay Leno Wednesday and showed off her post-baby body and 50-pound weight loss by wearing a curve-hugging, see-through white lace dress over a black bra and matching hot pants.

Kardashian discussed her engagement to Kanye West, showed off her 15-carat diamond ring and told host Jay Leno the couple is “hoping" to get married "next summer” but “haven't had time to sit down and talk about it.”

When Leno asked about reports that West was planning their wedding, Kardashian replied, “He definitely knows what he wants.  And I want him to have, you know, have whatever he wants.”

When asked about her mom Kris Jenner’s recent separation from Bruce Jenner after 22 years of marriage, Kardashian said they are both happier.  Kardashian said Bruce, her step-dad, would definitely be walking her down the aisle.

When Leno asked Kardashian if she was planning to take West as her married name, the reality star replied, “I will, I'm definitely gonna have like Kim, probably Kardashian as my middle name, and West.”/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>

She added, “My daughter has the last name West and we're a family so I want, you know, it to definitely be West.”

Kardashian gave birth to her daughter North in June and her decision to stay out of the public eye for a while was considered by many in the media to be hiding.  She told Leno she wasn't hiding, she was breast feeding and enjoying her baby.  Kardashian said North was born five weeks early and only weighed four-and-a-half pounds.

Speaking of four-month-old North, Kardashian said she never cries and is “a perfect little angel.” />/>/>/>

“I hope she grows up to be smart and opinionated like her dad,” Kardashian added.

Kardashian announced that she has lost the 50 pounds she gained during her pregnancy.  She said one of the reasons for the weight gain -- besides the pregnancy, of course -– was due to her developing preeclampsia, a disease that affects the liver and kidneys.  Kardashian said it made her “swell up.”

Earlier this month, Kardashian posted a photo of her post-baby body on Instagram.  Kardashian told Leno the photo of her in a white bikini was her response to all those people who criticized her for gaining so much weight.  Kardashian called the snapshot her “big middle finger to the world on everyone that called me fat.”

Kardashian is currently filming the ninth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
