What to Watch Tuesday: Trophy Wife Takes a Hostage, X Factor Live, an NCIS Return and More

On TV this Tuesday: Trophy Wife will teach kids to stay away on Mischief Night, The X Factor‘s first live show winnows the competition to 12, Supernatural follows the yellow brick road and Face Off is for the birds. 8 pm The X Factor (Fox) | Special night: The Top 12 finalists are revealed in the first live show of the season.

8 pm Ravenswood (ABC Family) | Time-slot premiere: Caleb learns more about Miranda, and Luke and Olivia reconnect with their mother. (Watch a video preview.).

8 pm The Originals (The CW) | Sophie tells Klaus and Rebekah a troubling secret from her past; Davina confides in an unexpected ally. (Watch a sneak peek and get scoop.)

8 pm NCIS (CBS) | Former SVU ADA Diane Neal returns as Special Agent Abigail Borin when NCIS partners with the Coast Guard Investigative Service to look into an explosion aboard an oil rig. Jon Lindstrom (General Hospital) also guest-stars.
