Ground Up Entertainment has announced, The Real Baby Mamas L.A. 1st season will premiere on Monday November 4th at 10:30 PM Comcast 95. The new show will feature different Baby Mamas throughout the L.A. County area and their children. Though this show has already caused and stirred up a lot of controversy, Executive Producer Cornelia Gail states, "This is an issue that has to be addressed." Today, one-third of American children – a total of 15 million - are being raised without their father.

Los Angeles, CA, October 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- "The Real Baby Mamas L.A." spotlights the key struggles and issues of women raising kids with absentee fathers or fathers they have yet to marry. The show will highlight the failures, disappointments and accomplishments of each woman. The cast all have diverse backgrounds, unique experiences and current lifestyles that are all varied but have this in common; the women are doing whatever it takes to feed, clothe and nurture their babies. "The Real Baby Mamas L.A." is a progressive and forward looking Reality T.V. Show for “Baby Mamas making progress.” The Show will follow Travon Gail, known as the Kid Starr. He has his own clothing line, “Nafarious by Nehemiah" and is currently signed with a top Los Angeles Agency. The show will follow Ms. V.A. She has three kids with a fourth one on the way, four different baby daddies. She is the author of four books and is currently homeless and receiving assistance from L.A. County. The show will follow Kiare Ajale, known as Ms. Mafia. She is from Compton California, born and raised. She is currently three months pregnant and nervous about her child’s father not being able to be there with her and the baby during her pregnancy. Her child’s father, is Ms. Mafia's best friend's ex. Her baby daddy is in and out of prison, he is a known gang banger and their future right now, lies in the hands of the judicial system. The show will follow Tyler Coleman, known as CCalii. She is from Compton California. She is a mama's girl, the ex-best friend of Ms. Mafia and she was with Ms. Mafia’s baby daddy for over six years. The Real Baby Mamas L.A. will follow Carlisha Jamerson, known as Sista Love on the show. She was born and raised in Compton California. She has one daughter that she raised alone, with the father contributing one can of milk the child’s entire life and a pair of skinny jeans. The show will follow Amillie’on Hunter, known as Chyna. She is from L.A. County. She grew up in the Foster Care System where she was molested. She lost her mom at eleven and she is currently nine months pregnant about to deliver her firstborn. Her child’s father is incarcerated, so she went thru most of her pregnancy alone. The show will also follow Teaira Gilchrist, known as Beauty on the show. She was born and raised in South Central, Los Angeles. She has one son and her dad was shot and killed when she was only seven years old. She was kidnapped by a pimp at age fifteen, was homeless and forced to break into abandoned homes for shelter. Faced with gang violence on a regular basis, her baby was confronted with guns in his face twice, once at only two months old. With the help of L.A. County, one of her goals is to change her life and make a difference for her son. The Real Baby Mamas L.A. will follow Camelia Goodwin, known as Candy on the show. She is originally from Lynwood California but now resides in the Hoovers in the Los Angeles California area. Camelia has three kids, and two baby daddies. Both fathers served prison sentences as she raised her kids alone. Camelia has no shame in the word baby mama because it’s a positive plus to her.

"The Real Baby Mamas L.A." is produced by The Ground Up Entertainment, with Cornelia Gail serving as Executive Producer.
