Pompano Beach, FL, September 26, 2013 --( Liberty Safe will be featured on the popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ airing on Lifetime TV in the second episode of the military home makeover series “Designing Spaces of Hope --Project Homeward Bound”. Make sure to tune in on Thursday, September 26th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) as the company provides a safe for Purple Heart recipient Jeff Taylor and his family.

The 3-part “Project Homeward Bound” series airing on Lifetime TV September 25–27th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) shows the step-by-step transformation of a dilapidated foreclosed-on house into a completely renovated one for injured soldier Private First Class Jeff Taylor’s family. Taylor, his wife and three children have lived in a cramped mobile home facing daily struggles since his return from Iraq until Designing Spaces™ and their valued partners like Liberty Safe teamed up to renovate the house.

Taylor will keep his prized Purple Heart award and other family valued possessions in a USA made Lincoln series safe donated by the company. Jamey Skousen, Marketing Director for Liberty Safe was on hand at the renovation site in Jacksonville, Fla. to talk about the safe’s SAFELERT feature, a high tech monitoring device that lets families know what’s going on with their safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Lincoln safe has a cool pocket to keep documents cool in case of fire, a dehumidifier, 1.5 hours of fire protection and programmable combinations for up to eight family members and many other safety features.

“We’re so glad Liberty Safe joined this inspiring series to give a true American war hero and his family a place to safeguard their precious family photos or anything else that is close to their hearts and irreplaceable. We really appreciate Liberty’s generosity in this makeover,” says Lysa Liemer, Executive VP of Programming and Chief Operating Officer, Designing Spaces™ airing on Lifetime.
