"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Highlights Tuesday's Premieres

ABC/Bob D'Amico(NEW YORK) -- ABC will unveil four of its new shows Tuesday night, including its highly-anticipated Marvel drama.  The fall premiere week also continues for CBS and NBC, with the return of hit series.

Here’s a preview of the new programming airing on Tuesday night.  All times Eastern:

ABC
-- Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., 8 p.m.: The law-enforcement organization introduced in the Marvel films, specifically The Avengers, invades the small screenClark Gregg leads the way as Agent Phil Coulson, who has been resurrected after seemingly dying in The AvengersThe Avengers director Joss Whedon helmed the pilot and is an executive producer of the series.

-- The Goldbergs, 9 p.m.: The new, Wonder Years-type comedy follows an 11-year-old in the 1980s who documents his family’s crazy antics with his video camera.  Jeff Garlin, Wendi McLendon-Covey and George Segal star.

-- Trophy Wife, 9:30 p.m.: Malin Akerman plays a reformed party girl who’s married to a man with two ex-wives and three kids.  Bradley Whitford plays the husband in the new comedy, and Marcia Gay Harden and former Saturday Night Live cast member Michaela Watkins are the ex-wives.

-- Lucky 7, 10 p.m.: The drama follows seven gas station employees in New York whose relationships with one another change after they win the lottery.  Steven Spielberg is an executive producer of the show.

CBS
-- NCIS, 8 p.m.: In the 11th-season premiere of TV's most popular drama, an explosion at an event in Washington, D.C., rocks the NCIS team.

-- NCIS: Los Angeles, 9 p.m.: Season five begins with the NCIS: L.A. team searching for stolen nuclear weapons.

-- Person of Interest, 10 p.m.: A naval officer in New York for Fleet Week is in danger as the drama’s third season gets underway.

NBC
-- Chicago Fire, 10 p.m.: Taylor Kinney’s Lt. Severide is targeted by an arsonist when the drama debuts its second season./>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>
