Charley Gallay/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Charlie Sheen is strongly denying a report that he has partied with Zac Efron, who reportedly spent time in rehab earlier this year.

RadarOnline.com is claiming the two actors at some point became close after they were introduced by a mutual friend.  An unnamed source is quoted as saying, "Zac was spending a lot of time at Charlie’s Beverly Hills mansion and they were definitely partying together."

Sheen insists the story is not true because he hasn't seen Efron in a long time.  He tells TMZ that Efron visited his house only once, for a Super Bowl party nearly two years ago.

Sheen further notes that Efron dropped by his Anger Management set 11 months ago, but only because they share a publicist.

Sheen dismisses as "ridiculous" the rumor that Efron partied at his house.

Sheen also disputes RadarOnline's allegation that he began abusing cocaine again in 2012, arguing, "Consider the fact that I have completed 54 episodes of Anger Management in a little more than a year...something that would ordinarily take more than three years to accomplish."

Multiple reports this week stated the 25-year-old Efron completed a stint in rehab about five months ago.  TMZ is now reporting Efron initially received treatment in March, but he later relapsed while shooting the Seth Rogen film Neighbors and sought rehab again.

TMZ claims Efron got hooked on cocaine as he was dealing with several issues, including the direction of his movie career, his relationship with his parents, and his love life./>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>/>
