On TV this Friday: Strike Back loses its man, Phineas and Ferb make some super new pals, Continuum tries to crack Liber8′s code, and prepare for major meltdowns: It’s time for America’s Next Top Model‘s annual makeover episode. Here are seven programs to keep on your radar.
8 pm Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel (Disney Channel) | This 55-minute crossover episode finds the boys and Marvel super heroes defeating super villains and Dr. Doofenshmirtz. (A sneak peek of the channel’s new intergalactic, animated series Wonder Over Yonder airs at 9 pm.)
8:30 pm The Neighbors (ABC) | Repeat to Revisit: Confession time — Jackie Joyner-Kersee’s Real Housewives-esque table flipping scene was what changed my mind about this comedy, which I’d initially loathed. If you, too, wrote it off at first, maybe give it another shot tonight?
9 pm America’s Next Top Model (The CW) | Not sure how close I’d get to Tyra’s rumored boytoy Rob Evans in a “risqué” photo shoot – Miss T looks like she needs little provocation to beat the ever-loving smize outta you – but the contestants put on their sexy faces for a session with Evans and Alessandra Ambrossio, anyway. Also: makeovers!
9 pm Ghost Adventures (Travel) | Season 8 premiere: Zak, Nick and Aaron travel to the former mining town of Goodsprings, Nev., where whiskey isn’t the only kind of spirit floating around the Pioneer Saloon.
10 pm Strike Back (Cinemax) | Scott, Stonebridge and the team lose Kamali, who escapes to Bogota; Dalton meets her new boss, a legendary agent named Philip Locke (played by Robson Green, ITV’s Wire in the Blood).
10 pm Continuum (Syfy) | Kiera and Carlos believe Liber8 is waging cyber war on the city, and they struggle to stop the attacks.
10 pm Comedy Bang! Bang! (IFC) | Community‘s Gillian Jacobs, Parks and Recreation‘s Adam Scott, Talking Dead‘s Chris Hardwick and SNL alum Michaela Watkins engage in some tomfoolery with Scott and Reggie.
