What to Watch Tonight: Burn Notice Intervention, Young Hollywood Awards, Hero Finale and More

On TV this Thursday: The Young Hollywood Awards celebrate notable newbies, Burn Notice misplaces its loyalty, The Hero is a true man (or woman) of the people and Sullivan & Son feels the free love. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm 2013 Young Hollywood Awards (The CW) | Ah, youth. Kit Harrington (Game of Thrones), Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and AnnaSophia Robb (The Carrie Diaries) are among the honorees at this year’s Young Hollywood Awards (which is put on by Penske Media Corporation, TVLine’s parent company.)

8 pm The Hero (TNT) | Season finale: As the contestants are reunited, the rigorous reality competition’s winner is chosen by fan vote. (Not yet renewed.)

9 pm Motive (ABC) | In this week’s case — which ABC’s synopsis deems “Hitchcockian” — a murder may turn out to be a healing act. Brothers & Sisters alum/Burn Notice baddie John Pyper-Ferguson guest-stars.

9:30 pm The Mindy Project (Fox) | Repeat to Revisit: This episode, directed by B.J. Novak (The Office) is worth a re-watch for Danny’s bumbling local news health minute (“Hand me the vulva”) alone.

10 pm Hollywood Game Night (NBC) | Tom Arnold (Sons of Anarchy), former Clooney arm candy/pro wrestler Stacy Keibler, Patricia Heaton (The Middle), Rose Byrne (Damages), Anthony Anderson (Law & Order) and Jamie-Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos) take part in tonight’s fun, which includes identifying iconic movie moments in which actors are replaced with cats.

10 pm Wilfred (FX) | Ryan tries progressive psychotherapy to better understand past trauma.

10 pm Sullivan & Son (TBS) | The death of Councilman Ryan inspires Jack to run for the open seat; Owen and Ahmed woo an attractive hippie until she suggests a free-love encounter for all three of them.
