The Walt Disney Company/Marvel Comics(SAN DIEGO) -- At Comic-Con in San Diego, the superhero movie news just kept coming, and Marvel's slate of announcements, Q&A panels and teases of footage on Saturday didn't disappoint.  Here's a quick roundup:

Thor: The Dark World got a major boost from actor Tom Hiddleston, preening in full costume and character as fan favorite baddie Loki, who got the crowd screaming by doing memorable lines inspired by his dialogue in The Avengers.  That sequel debuts on Nov. 8.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier/>
teased how the spangly hero is adapting to today's modern world after his awakening from an ice block some time before the events of The Avengers.  In short, not well.  Cap tangles with Samuel L. Jackson, returning as S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury, explaining the secret agency's war footing, "this isn’t freedom, it’s fear."  The movie's titular main villain turns out to be Cap's long-thought-dead best friend.  The film hits theaters on April 4, 2014.

Avengers 2 was officially announced as Avengers: Age Of Ultron, and given a May 1, 2015 release date.  The title refers to Ultron, a villain with plans to conquer the earth.

The least known upcoming property for Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy, had the most legwork to do to win over the crowd, as the comic on which it's based is relatively obscure.  However, a panel including much of the movie's cast, including Zoe Saldana, Benicio Del Toro, and Chris Pratt -- coupled with footage of the stars in action -- had the fans on their feet.  The film debuts on Aug. 1, 2014./>/>/>/>/>/>/>
