What to Watch Thursday: Game Night Begins, Sharknado Hits, Netflix Is the New Black and More

On TV this Thursday: Celebs show up for Hollywood Game Night, a Sharknado is brewing, Degrassi‘s bell rings and Orange Is the New Black starts serving time. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm Summer Camp (USA Network) | Series premiere: The day after NBC opened its Camp, sister network USA offers up a reality series using the same summery theme. A group of adult contestants sleep-away – and vie in physical challenges – at a lakeside retreat. The winners receive $250,000… and, one presumes, a macramé bracelet and a promise to keep in touch over the school year.

9 pm Sharknado (Syfy) | A superstorm hoovers sharks outta the ocean and hurls them onto land in Syfy’s latest made-for-TV movie. Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills, 90210) and Tara Reid (Scrubs) star, while 1970s Chevy Chase is nowhere to be seen….

9 pm Hell’s Kitchen (Fox) | A team of previous winners return to challenge the now-black-jacketed chefs.

9 pm Degrassi: The Next Generation (TeenNick) | Hour-long Season 13 premiere: There’s a sassy new girl! There’s Eli and Clare engaging in some sexy, long-distance shenanigans! There’s Canadian pop star Fefe Dobson performing some new tunes!

9 pm Burn Notice (USA Network) | As Michael and a former Russian operative struggle to get out of Cuba, Strong makes Fiona an offer she can’t refuse.

9 pm Motive (ABC) | A health food guru is found dead in his hot tub, leading Flynn and Vega to a young woman with a big secret.

10 pm Hollywood Game Night (NBC) | Series premiere: Glee‘s Jane Lynch hosts this new competition, where regular folk and celebrities team up to sip cocktails, take part in party games and vie for a $25,000 prize. Tonight’s line-up features Friends Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry, Martin Short (Damages), Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0) and Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother). 10 pm Graceland (USA Network) | Briggs and Charlie resume their identities as a sexually-charged couple (mrrrow) to get intel on a drug supplier called Odin.

10 pm Sullivan & Son (TBS) | As coach of the bar’s peewee hockey team, Steve finds himself sinking to the level of fellow coach and childhood rival Lyle (played by Billy Gardell, Mike & Molly).

Orange Is the New Black (Netflix) | Series premiere: Weeds creator Jenji Kohan is behind this Netflix original series, all 13 episodes of which are available on the online streaming service as of, well, now. Based on Piper Kerman’s memoir, the dramedy stars Taylor Schilling (Mercy) as a yuppie sent to prison for a decade-old drug crime.
