The Veronica Mars Movie: Krysten Ritter Signs On

Veronica Mars Movie Krysten RitterKrysten Ritter‘s B—- in Apt 23 is gone, but her Gia will be back for the Veronica Mars movie.

The actress will reprise her role as the bubbly brunette from Season 2, creator and executive producer Rob Thomas announced Friday afternoon.

“Despite the name of her most recent television series, Krysten couldn’t be lovelier to work with,” Thomas wrote in an email to the film’s Kickstarter contributors. “I’m thrilled that she’ll be joining us for the movie.”

Also returning are Brandon Hillock (as Deputy Sacks), Kevin Sheridan (“chronic ne’er-do-well” Sean Friedrich) and Jonathan Chesner (stoner Corny).

They join a cast that already includes former series regulars Kristen Bell, Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, Chris Lowell, Tina Majorino and Francis Capra, as well as Christine Lakin (Susan Knight), Amanda Noret (Madison Sinclair) and Sam Huntington (Luke Haldeman).
