Exclusive: Disney XD Rolls Out a "Non-Stop Summer"

Disney XD is giving kids tons of action-packed reasons to say indoors this summer with the network's most ambitious programming slate yet. The young, male-driven network will unveil a slew of series and specials this season including Marvel's Avengers Assemble , premiering Sunday July 7, and Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. , premiering Sunday, Aug. 11. The network has also partnered with the X Games for four separate specials, airing nightly July 22-25. All of the "Non-Stop Summer" fun officially makes a splash on Monday, June 17. Here are the highlights:

Chicken...I Dare You, June 17—Aug. 26NBA star Dwight Howard joins Disney XD's fan-favorite costume chicken and the networks' biggest names in this campaign, which lets viewers vote online to dare their favorite stars to go head-to-head with The Chicken. Voting beginnings on June 17, and the hilarious hijinks will air on Monday nights beginning June 24.

Truckasaurus Monday Mayhem, July 8, 8:30/7:30cGet ready to start your engines with all-new episodes of Lab Rats , Kickin' It and Crash & Bernstein for a night of monster-truck themed programming. Viewers can also race over to disneyxd.com to play the racing game Titans on the Track.

Randomation Animation, beginning July 13, 8:30 a.m./7:30cNeed a reason to wake up on Saturday morning? Spankin' new cartoons! The animation block, which will air throughout the season, features freshman series Packages From Planet X and Camp Lakebottom as  well as returning favorites Max Steel and Randy Cunningham: 9 th Grade Ninja and a Phineas and Ferb musical countdown hosted by Kelly Osbourne .

Monday Night Overdrive, July 22, 8:30/7:30cLab Rats and Crash & Bernstein kick-off this superstar sports-themed night. Athletes from the NFL, NASCAR and the X Games will join in on the fun — NASCAR's Joey Logano and the Philadelphia Eagles' DeSean Jackon are set to make cameo appearances.

Crash & Bernstein, one-hour special, July 29, 8:30/7:30cThe live-action puppet show will air a one-hour special episode, which has tapped Tony Award-winning actress Andrea Martin and The Waterboy's John Farley as guest stars.

TRYathlon, Aug. 12 and 19, 9/8cKids fans join the favorite Disney XD and Disney Channel stars in this special event, which the network says, "inspires kids and families to try a variety of new foods, fun moves, and simple ways to be your best."

Check out this exclusive summer footage in Disney XD's "Non-Stop Summer" remix video. The music video will officially premiere during the telecast of Kickin' It on Monday, June 17, 8:30/7:30c.
