Lauren Graham Book Becoming TV Series

Someday, someday, maybe Lauren Graham‘s debut novel will become a TV show.

Ellen DeGeneres‘ A Very Good Production and Warner Bros. TV have put into development a series adaptation of the Parenthood star’s New York Times bestseller, Someday, Someday, Maybe.

Frank Darabont’s new TNT drama Lost Angels (fka L.A. Noir) is rounding out its cast by adding Ed Burns to the mix, Deadline reports. The big-screen actor (Saving Private Ryan) will recur as notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel. Angels follows the 1940s/’50s-era epic battle between determined L.A. Police Chief William Parker (Neal McDonough) and boxer-turned-mobster Mickey Cohen (Jeremy Luke). Robert Knepper, meanwhile, has been upped to series regular.

Kunal Nayyar is making his way to Sullivan & Son. Per TV Guide Magazine, the Big Bang Theory actor will play a bar-goer who fancies himself a ladies’ man. (Translation: This is not Raj.)
