Frank Darabont’s new TNT drama Lost Angels (fka L.A. Noir) is rounding out its cast by adding Ed Burns to the mix, Deadline reports. The big-screen actor (Saving Private Ryan) will recur as notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel. Angels follows the 1940s/’50s-era epic battle between determined L.A. Police Chief William Parker (Neal McDonough) and boxer-turned-mobster Mickey Cohen (Jeremy Luke). Robert Knepper, meanwhile, has been upped to series regular.

Kunal Nayyar is making his way to Sullivan & Son. Per TV Guide Magazine, the Big Bang Theory actor will play a bar-goer who fancies himself a ladies’ man. (Translation: This is not Raj.)
