It’s always a treat to spot stylish stars walking the streets in everyday clothes, but it’s super rare to catch them flaunting pieces from stores that WE shop at on the red carpet — but Helen Hunt proved to be the exception at the 85th Annual Academy Awards at the Hollywood & Highland Center in LA on Feb. 24. The 49-year-old Oscar nominee debuted a custom-made navy gown from no other than H&M!

The piece was designed specifically for the The Sessions actress, and she even exchanged fabrics and sketches with the designers along the way! Helen is really into an eco-friendly lifestyle, so it makes sense that the dress is part of H&M’s new Conscious collection, which is made entirely from sustainable, and some recycled, materials.

Just because the acclaimed actress didn’t go with a high-fashion designer doesn’t mean she cut down on her budget. The back of the simple blue gown was embellished with dazzling Martina Katz diamonds that, along with her jewelry, held a net worth of $700,000! Now that’s how you mix high and low fashion. While we loved her look, unfortunately the gown won’t be available in stores.

While the delicate strapless piece was undeniably flattering on the blonde beauty, it could have used a quick steaming before the event! Her ensemble was very noticeably wrinkled from top to bottom — but it was still so stunning!
