Rihanna seems like she’s moved on from the attack, as she just spend her 25th birthday on a romantic Hawaiian vacation with Chris Brown, 23, but the public hasn’t fully forgiven him yet. In an interview with The Mirror, Chris admits “that night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake.”

Chris Brown Talks About His Attack On Rihanna

On Feb. 24, Chris told The Mirror, “That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake.”

“Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals.”

After the attack, it took months of “serious making up,” Chris admitted.

Echoeing their hit song together, “Nobodies Business,” Chris said: “People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time. But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me any more. Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything.”

Chris Brown Parties Without Rihanna After The Oscars

Chris was at Elton John‘s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on Feb. 24 with RiRi nowhere in sight. But sources tell HollywoodLife.com, there’s no trouble — she just wanted a night off.

“She’s with her girls enjoying her birthday. For her, the party ain’t ending and why should it,” a friend of Rihanna’s told us EXCLUSIVELY.

Rihanna’s birthday was on Feb. 20, and she spent it with Chris on vacation.

“She and Chris are good but she wanted to sit last night out and do her own sh** so that’s what the f**k she did.”
