The Voice won't be back for another month, but the  claws are already coming out! And, no, we're not talking about CeeLo Green's feline sidekick, Purrfect.

In this exclusive behind-the-scenes video from the new season, Christina Milian sits down with new coach Usher to talk about his team-building strategy. Like Green and Christina Aguilera before him, the longtime performer seems ready to fight for the best talent.

The Voice Season 4 preview: Shakira vs. the boys?

"I'm extremely competitive, so they picked the right guy," he says with a laugh. Not only will Usher will be hard on coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and fellow newcomer Shakira, but he also plans on cracking the whip when it comes to his team of singers. "It's not gonna be easy, but it will be worthwhile. And if you really do want a career that will last, then you're willing to take the time to learn," he says.

Watch this exclusive clip to find out Usher's strategy for the blind auditions and more:

The Voice returns on Monday, March 25 at 8/7c on NBC. Are you excited to see Usher and Shakira on The Voice? Which coach do you think will win this season?
