Bachelor fans can be heard rejoicing as this season's villain Tierra is finally gone.
After getting the first impression rose on the first night, Tierra quickly became Sean's front-runner. But as she continued to butt heads with the girls and manipulate Sean so she could spend more time with him, viewers grew angry that he hadn't yet sent her packing. In Monday's episode, the 24-year-old had quite the meltdown, which caused Sean to say his final goodbye.
But perhaps even more shocking than Tierra's exit was that Sean let fan favorite Lesley go. What lead to her demise? Host Chris Harrison explains why she and Sean might really regret their "breakup."
We have to start with Tierra. She's finally gone! Chris Harrison: She just lost control of her own game. This wasn't a big elaborate acting scheme. Her real emotion was in it, but it just got to be too much for her, and it all came to a head.
I'm surprised AshLee was the one she got into it with. Harrison: Well AshLee opened up to Sean on their date. Everyone really respects AshLee -- she's older and wiser and like the Mother Hen of the house so when she starts speaking up and saying stuff about Tierra, Sean was like, "OK, something has got to be going on here." At this point he was pretty aware and a little worn thin by it all, so when he walked in on the meltdown he was like, "I'm done."

Once Sean finally saw her lack of maturity, did he regret keeping her for so long? Harrison: Maybe he would only go back one week and say, "I wish I kept Jackie on the two-on-one," but I don't think Jackie was the girl for him either. With this situation, I think as long as he did figure it out, it's fine. Yes, it took him longer than the audience because the audience was privy to everything that happened, but he figured it out in his own time and did the right thing by cutting her loose. As long as it was before he cut anyone that would've had a shot.
How much did his sister's opinion influence his thought process? Harrison: Shay is awesome, she's an uber fan of the show so she had this great perspective of not only being a big sister, but watching the show. So she gave him good advice like if there's that girl on the show don't be that guy that falls in love with her, it never works. And it's true. It was the slap upside the head that he needed.

Going back to AshLee's one-on-one date. She said, "I love you." Were you surprised? Harrison: We were a little surprised. There was a little more to how she did it. The whole point was her getting up on her seat like that was that Sean was saying, "Let go, and I dare you to do something crazy." So when she got up on her chair and screamed, it was her being goofy. Then she screamed "I love you," it was part of her showing she could let go. So it was prompted by Sean.
Catherine, Desiree and Lindsay's date was awesome and they all get along so well. Harrison: That date was brutal because Sean didn't get to bed until like 1 a.m. and had to be up at 4 a.m. to go over and see the girls for the sunrise. But a group date at this point sucks, so thank God these three girls like each other a lot. And the reason those three got the date was because none of them were in question of getting a rose.
Lindsay got the group date rose. Talk about a comeback. Harrison: I thought Catherine was going to get the rose because his M.O. is to protect the girl, and Catherine opened up about her dad. But Lindsay is the comeback story of the year. I don't remember ever having a contestant make it to hometowns that was literally out the door on Night 1. For him to be really falling for her is pretty amazing and goes to show you have to leave yourself open because you never know.

Leslie wanted to tell Sean she loved him, but couldn't. Was that her downfall? Harrison: I'm really looking forward to and at the same time dreading talking to her at Women Tell All because when she watches back how much Sean liked her and when Sean watches how much she loved him and didn't say anything, they're both going to kick themselves and regret that breakup. Viewers know how she felt, but Sean didn't and what he saw was this awkward date with a very reserved Lesley who's never been like that. All she wanted to do was say, "I love you," that she [became] so nervous and it ruined their date. At this point Sean is splitting hairs and it's a very minute thing separating these girls, other than Tierra, so it was really regretful. I think when I talk to Lesley at Women Tell All I won't be surprised if she starts crying. Talk about missed love.
I was so confused at the end when Catherine was hysterical over Lesley's exit. What did I miss? Harrison: I was sitting in the control room and saw her crying and I said, "Did I miss something? I don't understand why she's crying." When she started speaking about it, it made even less sense. It's hard to explain how emotional it is without getting cheesy, but it is such an intense thing that I think it set off this trigger. It was so weird. What can you preview about next week's hometown dates? Harrison: I'd say right now we have a four-way tie. We have four awesome girls, which is really scary. So now it's really a lifestyle choice and who he fits best with. Catherine has all women in her family, Lindsay's dad is a General who commands thousands of troops, AshLee obviously has an emotional backstory and even Desiree has talked about the problems with her family and her brother, so there's really no safe harbor for any of these hometowns. It's a make-or-break time for all the women.
