"I got radical" and "delightfully radical" are two of the terms used to slam Ashley Judd in a web video produced by a conservative super PAC. Judd is considering running against incumbent Kentucky Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

FRANKFORT, Ky – In what could be termed as a preemptive strike, a conservative super PAC has targeted actress Ashley Judd as a radical, despite the fact, officially, she is only considering running for a U.S. Senate seat in Kentucky.

A web video, produced and paid for by American Crossroads, overlays the words: “I got radical” and “Delightfully radical,” on an image of Judd speaking from a podium. Judd, an actress, is considering a race against Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

American Crossroads uses parts of speeches and interview comments by Judd, which are designed to raise the ire of conservative Kentucky Republicans, according to The Reliable Source. The comments portrays Judd as an avid Obama follower and a self-proclaimed radical.

While Judd is a Kentucky native, she lives near Nashville, Tennessee. Many of the co-opted comments come from an address she made to the Tennessee delegation at the September Democratic National Convention.

A publicist for Judd, in an email statement, said Judd thanks Senator McConnell, conservative political consultant, Karl Rove and “their negative allies for all the attention as she considers her future political plans, although a decision hasn't been made yet.”
