Pilot Season: The Office Alum Cast as Beverly Hills Cop Reboot's Judge Reinhold

CBS' Beverly Hills Cop reboot pilot has found the Judge Reinhold to Brandon T. Jackson's Eddie Murphy.

David Denman, who is best known for playing Pam's former fiancé Roy on The Office, has been cast as a strong, loyal yet socially awkward Beverly Hills detective, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Denman's character, Brad Fuller, is also described as a good guy to have on your side despite his social shortcomings. He will have a partner on the show named Leila, a role that has yet to be cast.

Denman joins Jackson and Kevin Pollak. The hourlong pilot is executive-produced by Murphy and The Shield creator and executive producer Shawn Ryan.
