It’s a match made in teen TV drama heaven! The actors, who starred together in the 2011 film ‘The Oranges,’ have been getting cozy. Do YOU think they make a cute couple?

Cue the primetime TV drama music — Leighton Meester, 26, and Adam Brody, 33, are now a couple! The Gossip Girl star and her fellow TV actor beau, who gained fame during his five seasons on The O.C., have been “hanging out,” according to Us Weekly.

“They were always close and friendly,” source tells the magazine.

The couple starred together in the 2011 film The Oranges, a comedy-drama that also featured Catherine Keener and Hugh Laurie.

Leighton had been dating Aaron Himelstein, 27, but the two split over the holidays. Adam, meanwhile, was linked to director Lorene Scafaria, who wrote Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist in 2008.

Even though the new couple has been keeping their relationship low-key, they have already been spotted out and about. They traveled to Bangkok earlier in the year, and were spotted at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Feb. 1 checking out exhibits.

Adam first gained notoriety as the goofy comic book-loving teen Seth Cohen on The O.C., which premiered on Fox in 2003. Throughout the show’s five season, he also appeared in several films, including Thank You for Smoking, Mrs. & Mrs. Smith and most recently Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

Leighton is best known for her role as Blair Waldorf on the CW’s Gossip Girl, which ran for six seasons and ended in December 2012.
