After facing doubts regarding President Barack Obama's firearms experience, the White House has released a photo of the POTUS in the act. Which canceled show would you bring back? In a recent interview with The New Republic, Obama revealed that "we do skeet shooting all the time," except for his daughters, while up at Camp David, prompting skeptics to question the claim. Now Obama has put his money where his mouth is, with a newly released photo of the president shooting clay targets at the retreat on his 51st birthday on Aug. 4 last year. The photo was released two days before Obama heads to Minnesota to push gun-control measures in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting.

Horatio Sanz On 'Saturday Night Live's' Politics: 'We Dropped The Ball' On Going After The Right

Aug 20 2014 12:09pm CDT | Source: Huffington Post

When you look at it today, "Live From New York," Tom Shales' and James Miller's seminal oral history of "Saturday Night Live," is clearly missing one thing: the last decade. Fortunately, that will all change on September 9, when a new edition of the book is released with 200 pages devoted to everything that's happened since its 2003 publication. And at least one former star is sounding off on an area where he thinks the long-running comedy show failed: ...

Why 24 Lived Another Day and Will Live Again

Jul 24 2014 12:54pm CDT | Source: Huffington Post

With comments from the head of the Fox broadcast TV network this week to the effect that he is looking forward to another season, it's clear that the return of 24, which wrapped up a 12-episode limited series run last week, has been a real success. Given that the show had seemed near played out when it ended its eight-season run four years ago, the question is why the longest-running espionage TV series in history seems still to have a lot ...
