Johnny Depp Looks Sexy In ‘Lone Ranger’ Super Bowl Trailer

As if there wasn’t enough to look forward to on Super Bowl Sunday, now we can add a sexy first-look at Johnny Depp in ‘The Lone Ranger’ to the list! Watch a preview below!

While Beyoncé and her halftime show may be main attraction at Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3 (what are sports?), we all know that the commercials come in a close second! One major one to look forward to: A new trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of The Lone Ranger, starring Armie Hammer and a very sexy Johnny Depp!

Though the film won’t be in theaters until July 3, 2013, viewers of the big game will get their full-length look at Johnny and Armie during the pre-game show! But we’ve got the first peek of the teaser here. It may not reveal much other than the fact that Johnny and Armie are hot and not to be messed with — which is more than enough for us!

Johnny Depp’s Interesting Look In ‘The Lone Ranger’

As Tonto, The Lone Ranger’s trusty sidekick, Johnny sports quite an interesting look that the actor was very instrumental in developing. In April of 2012, he spoke with Entertainment Weekly about where he found his inspiration.

“I’d actually seen a painting by an artist named Kirby Sattler, and looked at the face of this warrior and thought: That’s it,” he told the magazine. “The stripes down the face and across the eyes … it seemed to me like you could almost see the separate sections of the individual, if you know what I mean.”

The bird Johnny wears on his head throughout the film comes from the painting, as well. “It just so happened Sattler had painted a bird flying directly behind the warrior’s head. It looked to me like it was sitting on top. I thought: Tonto’s got a bird on his head. It’s his spirit guide in a way. It’s dead to others, but it’s not dead to him. It’s very much alive.”
