Pilot Season: ABC Orders Comedies from Shawn Levy, Sharon Horgan

ABC ordered two single-camera comedy pilots Wednesday, including a family comedy from Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy.

In The Untitled Andrea Abbate project, good girl Karey is the black sheep in a family of petty thieves, drug addicts and narcissists. When her brother is sent to prison, she decides to raise his kids along with her adopted African-American son in hopes of giving them all a normal childhood. Accidentally on Purpose scribe Andrea Abbate wrote the pilot, which will be executive-produced by Levy, and Last Man Standing executive producers Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements.

Bad Management is about a slightly self-centered female boss at a high-end luxury goods department store whose methods are challenged when her boss' son arrives and makes youth and sex the company's new focus. Free Agents alum Sharon Horgan will star in pilot, which she wrote with Holly Walsh. Aaron Kaplan (The Neighbors) is on board as an executive producer.
