On Thursday Jan. 24, Rihanna pushed the boundaries of being controversial, when she went sans bra in a see-through dress, allowing her sexy figure to take center stage at Eden nightclub in Hollywood.

Rihanna finished her outfit with pink and gold toe-cap heels, plus, keeping her makeup simple with bright red lipstick.

Rihanna, 24, is enjoying some time off before the start of her Diamonds world tour, which kicks off on March 8.

Chris Brown, 23, was nowhere to be found. Perhaps the “Diamonds” singer really is moving on from Chris, after he was spotted “supporting” ex Karrueche Tran at an event on Jan. 23.

Regardless, Rihanna’s choices in wardrobe, among other actions, are leading other stars in Hollywood to question her status as a role model.

Girls actress Lena Dunham spoke to Alec Baldwin recently and expressed how she doesn’t think Rihanna takes her status as a role model seriously.

It’s an amazing thing and it’s like, it’s a platform that you have to take seriously,” Lena said. “Which is why sometimes it’s like I used to be really into Rihanna, that pop star, and then it’s like again, I don’t want to ever throw stones from my glass house, but I follow her on Instagram and I just think about how many little girls beyond what I could even comprehend are obsessed with Rihanna. Like you know, she left Barbados, she’s had this amazing career, she’s won a Grammy.”

“She’s talented. And then she gets back together with Chris Brown and posts a million pictures of them smoking marijuana together on a bed. And it cracks my heart in half in a way that makes me feel like I’m 95 years old,” the recent Golden Globe winner concluded.
