On TV this Thursday: Another Archer season draws nigh, Suits presses on, Anger Management kicks off its non-stop two-year run and a FX’s new sitcom is Legit. Meanwhile, Haven and Project Runway All Stars wrap and Oprah’s got Lance Armstrong caught in the spokes. As a supplement to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.
8 pm Haven (Syfy) | Season 3 finale: In the first of this run’s last two episodes, Audrey, Nathan and Duke have to stop a killer from crashing a high school reunion. Then, in the season finale, the trio gets ready to do battle with the Bolt Gun Killer. (Have no fear – the series has been renewed for a fourth season.) Read preview from Very Important Guest Star Laura Vandervoort.
8 pm Last Resort (ABC) | In the series’ penultimate episode, Kylie works with Admiral Shepard and uses evidence of what really happened in Pakistan to bring down the President – affording Marcus an opportunity to surrender the Colorado… if everything goes according to plan.
9 pm Oprah’s Next Chapter (OWN) | Seven-time Tour de France-winning cyclist Lance Armstrong speaks for the first time since being banned from competition for allegedly using performance-enhancing substances. (The two-part interview concludes Friday at 9 pm.)
9 pm Anger Management (FX) | Season 2 premiere: Charlie Sheen’s Energizer Bunny of a sitcom returns with back-to-back episodes, the first of a near-uninterrupted 90-week (!) run. 9 pm Project Runway All Stars (Lifetime) | Season finale: The final three designers get four days, 90 minutes at Mood and the help of previously eliminated competitors to complete a mini collection. Liv Tyler (Armageddon) and designer Margherita Missoni guest-judge. (Runway Season 11 premieres next Thursday, minus Michael Kors.)
10 pm King of the Nerds (TBS) | Series premiere: In this new reality show, a pack of Poindexters move in together and compete in Nerd Wars, the losers of which are banished from the house forever. George Takei and “Jay and Silent Bob” are among the judges. (Watch trailer.)
10:30 pm Legit (FX) | Series premiere: Australian comedian Jim Jefferies plays a heightened version of himself trying to create a stand-up comedy career in Los Angeles. Dan Bakkedahl (Community, The United States of Tara) and DJ Qualls (Memphis Beat) play his pals.
