Unlike the many other stars who have had naked baby bump photo shoots for magazines, the music star and her soccer player boyfriend have posed for a photo together, and posted it on Twitter! She revealed her bump for a great, charitable cause — and she looks lovely!

On Jan. 16, 35-year-old Shakira and her soccer player boyfriend, Gerard Pique, released a black and white portrait of the two of them showing off her pregnant belly — and they both were wearing minimal clothing for the intimate shoot!

Shakira opted to wear a bikini top, and Gerard went shirtless to go along with the bare skin theme. Both of their hands ontop of each other on the bottom of her belly makes it a bit more intimate than previous pics we’ve seen. They look loving and ready to welcome their firstborn into the world. Luckily, the building of their new home in Barcelona was recently completed, and they are well prepared to host a new member of the family!

In the past, stars such as Demi Moore and Britney Spears have revealed their bumps to the public through magazine covers, but Shakira took a bit of a different approach. She revealed the pic through a tweet! She feels close enough with her fans to reveal it to them on her own!

She posted, “Queremos celebrar el nacimiento de nuestro primer hijo con todos #babyshower,” along with the picture and a link to their UNICEF world baby shower to raise money to help save children’s lives. Click HERE for the website.

The invitation from Shakira and Gerard says, “To celebrate the arrival of our first child, we hope that, in his name, other less privileged children in the world can have their basic needs covered through gifts and donations. Thank you for sharing this unforgettable moment with us.”
