Michael J. Fox’s buzzy new NBC comedy is rounding out its cast. Per Deadline, Katie Finneran (I Hate My Teenage Daughter) has joined the show as Mike’s narcissistic, jobless sister, while newcomers Conor Romero and Jack Goor will play his sons.

• Battlestar Galactica executive producer Ron Moore likely will have another sci-fi project on Syfy’s primetime lineup later this year, according to Deadline. The network reportedly is nearing a straight-to-series deal for Helix, a 13-episode thriller about scientists investigating a disease outbreak at an Arctic research outpost. The series would be produced by Sony Pictures Television, with Moore and Lynda Obst (Hot in Cleveland) exec-producing.

• TNT has opted not to move forward with its Mira Sorvino-led drama pilot Trooper, per Deadline. The project, which centered on a mom-turned-state trooper, was originally developed for CBS last season but eventually was scrapped.

USA Network is looking to get into the late-night TV game with a talk show from Will Ferrell’s Gary Sanchez Productions, TV Guide Magazine reports. But there’s a twist: The series would actually be designed as a morning show, à la Live with Kelly and Michael, but would air in the wee hours at 12:01 am.

• Bravo’s breakout star Bethenny Frankel will guest-star in an upcoming episode of The Neighbors, EW.com reports, playing a businesswoman who takes Debbie and her purse biz under her wing.

Guys With Kids is reuniting former Cosby Show co-stars Tempestt Bledsoe and Keshia Knight Pulliam. The actress will drop by as Bledsoe’s character’s little sister.
