The Mentalist's Samaire Armstrong recently welcomed her first child, a baby boy.

"Thank you sooo much for all the love!! Will post pictures after a little rest." Armstrong wrote on her Facebook page Sunday. "We're all doing wonderfully. It was an amazing experience and we couldn't be more thrilled with our new arrival."

No further details were given, but People reports she named her son Calin.

Armstrong, 32, is currently appearing on The Mentalist as Summer. She is also known for her roles on The O.C., Entourage and Dirty Sexy Money.
