actress flew to New York City specifically to appear at the benefit at Madison Square Garden to encourage her fans to donate and support the efforts to rebuild the eastern seaboard! She was given a humorous introduction from the night's de facto emcee, BillyCrystal, who joked about how young viewers were asking their parents who he was, but would need no introduction for the next presenter. He said she flew specifically from Los Angeles to NYC for the event. "She got here in three minutes," he joked. "That's what happens when a vampire flies at night."
